ISO 22000 is an international standard of ISO, developed to implement the Food Safety Management System. This standard is applicable to all organizations in the food supply chain from farm to fork. It specifies requirements to ensure food safety as well as to enhance the organization’s FSMS performance. It helps the organization meets the statutory and regulatory requirements. Also, the ISO 22000 reduces food safety risks and hazards and enables organizations to eliminate the low-quality food.

I’ve been reading about ISO 22000 lately, but I still don’t fully get how it’s different from HACCP. Is it mainly about certification or does it also push companies to improve processes? Reminds me of the way I got lost with raid rsl helper at first—too many details, not sure where to start.
